- This quilt was made for the 2011 Michigan Quilt Artist Invitational on the theme of "Art of the Kitchen". Intense free motion embroidery (using over 75 different colors of thread) was worked over the transferred image of a photo I took one morning after a particularly colorful trip to the local farmers' market.
